Our Story

American Auto Repair started as a small Lakeland shop with just a few lifts and a big promise to deliver honest diagnostics, fair pricing, and repairs done right the first time.

Over the years, that promise fueled our growth into a 14 bay facility on US Hwy 98 N, serving drivers from across Polk County and beyond. Known as Central Florida’s specialists in lifter repairs from AFM/DOD failures to HEMI tick and Dodge 3.6L issues, we have built our reputation on taking on the tough jobs other shops avoid, all while treating every customer like family.

Backed by ASE certified technicians and a 24 month/24,000 mile warranty, we remain committed to keeping local drivers safe, confident, and on the road.
